Jaime Heins was appointed to the Shelburne Selectboard on November 14, 2017 to serve on an interim basis until Town Meeting Day on March 6, 2018. Jaime was appointed to the Shelburne Planning Commission in 2013 and served as its Chair from 2015-2017. He was also elected as a Justice of the Peace in February 2017.
A Shelburne resident since 2012, Jaime has lived in Vermont with his family since 2005 and is proud to call Shelburne home. Jaime brings over 15 years of legal and business experience to the Planning Commission. Currently, Jaime is a Senior Director and in-house legal counsel at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. Prior to joining Keurig Green Mountain, Jaime served as General Counsel to Burton Snowboards where he led and managed Burton’s Legal Department. Jaime also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Burlington YMCA (GBYMCA) and the Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation (GBIC).
In addition to his career, Jaime is a busy husband and father. Jaime lives on Maeck Farm Road with his wife, Erin, a partner at the law firm of Langrock Sperry & Wool LLP in Burlington and former Pierson Library Trustee. They have two young children, Brady and Samantha, and a loyal and attention-starved black lab named Miles.
