Town Manager
Email
Ph: 802-985-5111Lee Krohn has served as Town Manager (at first as Interim Manager) since April 2018. Throughout his many years of service in municipal government and regional planning, he has worked to encourage creative, collaborative problem solving to the issues we face, and to help strengthen a sense of place in the community he serves. Shelburne’s approach to appointing high school students on Town boards was modeled after a program Lee helped initiate in Manchester, just one of several award winning projects he spearheaded during his time there. In addition to his dedication to service as Town Manager, Lee also serves on Shelburne’s Volunteer Fire Department, and volunteers for an array of nonprofit events including the Dragonboat Festival, Girls on the Run, and Vermont City Marathon Command. Lee is an Outward Bound alum, graduated with the first class of the Vermont Leadership Institute, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and earned Vermont Firefighter 1 certification. He enjoys outdoor adventures in all seasons, has successfully completed several marathons, and has led long distance bicycle tours in New England, the Pacific Northwest, and Canada. Lee is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Town of Shelburne, and help us work together to help accomplish community goals and initiatives.
