Pierson Library Restarting Curbside Delivery on Monday (April 20, 2020)

Announcement from Kevin Unrath, Director, Pierson Library Based on Governor's Scott's latest addendum to the "Stay home, Stay safe" order, Pierson Library is permitted to again offer curbside pickup of materials starting on Monday.

We're excited to provide access to the collection again through "contactless" curbside pickup to all Shelburne residents. Here's how it works:
You can either call 985-5124 during the hours below or email to place a request. Hours for curbside pickup will be:
Noon – 4pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
4pm-8pm Tuesday

We are providing currently available material (we cannot place or fill holds on material that is currently checked out). We can pull a maximum of ten items per family.

You will want to search the catalog first at and have your list of available materials ready before calling or emailing, including call numbers and titles. Don't know what you want? That's okay, call and we can figure out together what might work for you.

Staff will then pull your material and place it in the foyer of the West Entrance (the one with the bookdrop), in a bag with your last name prominently displayed. This will takeanywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on current demand. You can pick up your items any time the same day you during the open hours listed above. Due to space constraints, materials must be picked up the same day they are requested.

That's it!

Please know that we are sanitizing the foyer during open hours on a regular basis and are quarantining all material for seven days before checking it out again. Staff are wearingface masks and we ask that all patrons do the same for the safety of all. Be well, keep reading and we look forward to welcoming you back into the building when we are able.

If you cannot leave home or would rather not, please browse our eBooks and databases available at .

As always, I welcome your feedback at .

Very best,
Kevin Unrath
