[ARCHIVED] Catalytic Converter Capers Strike Again

Police Patch

On April 18, 2013, at approximately 1420 hours, Shelburne Police Department received a report of subjects that appeared to be stealing parts from new automobiles parked behind the old Shelburne Steakhouse located at 2545 Shelburne Road.

It was reported that a woman walking her dog had come across two men wearing masks that were under the vehicles. The men fled into the wooded area behind the building, towards the Locust Hill development. The males had stolen a number of catalytic converters from the vehicles. It is believed the subjects had a vehicle in the area, possibly on Locust Hill Road.

Anyone who may have seen the subjects or vehicle involved or any other suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Shelburne Police at 802-985-8051.
